Popchi
Privacy policy
Last updated October 26, 2026. This covers the Popchi Android app and keyboard, and the website at popchi.app.
The short version
Popchi reads what you type only to pick stickers, and it does that on your phone. Nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else. There are no accounts, ads, trackers or analytics.
What you type
The keyboard and the website read your message to choose stickers and draw your words in the bubble. Matching runs on your phone with small built-in models. The Android app does not have permission to use the internet at all, and the website makes no network requests besides loading its own files.
Popchi never saves your messages. In password boxes the keyboard turns stickers off.
What stays on your phone
- Your settings, such as typing language, Keep it clean, and Moving stickers.
- Which stickers you send most, so your favorites come first.
- Which of Popchi's own tag words led to a pick (for example "haha" led to a laugh). Words that aren't in Popchi's own lists, such as names and numbers, are never saved.
- Words you teach the keyboard's suggestions.
- Sticker packs you make or save.
- Characters you make in Create, and the pictures you import for them.
- "None fit" reports, if you choose to save one.
All of this is stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing this site's data in your browser, removes it.
What you choose to send
- Stickers go only where you send them, through the chat app you pick.
- "None fit" reports stay on your phone until you open them, remove anything private, and email them to us yourself. We use them only to improve which stickers match which words.
- Pack links hold the list of poses after the # sign, which browsers never send to our website.
- Adding a pack to WhatsApp or Telegram hands those apps the sticker pictures. Their own privacy policies apply after that.
- Make your own character gives you prompts to paste into Google Gemini yourself. Popchi doesn't send your photo anywhere; what you share with Gemini is covered by Google's policy.
Payments
Plans are in test mode. No payments are taken. If that changes, payments will go through Google Play, and this page will be updated first.
Children
Popchi doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Hosting
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages behind Cloudflare. Like any website host, they may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages loaded) for security. Popchi doesn't receive or use these.
